So we hit the road and had made no firm plans of how far we'd be going each night.
We had switched Eric's cell phone plan to allow a certian amount of calls to come in etc.
Didn't want to get hit with any crazy cell phone bill when we returned home. (Heard some horror stories..... fingers crossed till the bill comes in!)
With feeling queezy quite a bit.....I pouted a few times when it looked like Eric was going to drive too far in one day. He wasn't overly impressed with me I could tell but we stopped!
In our first day....even with stopping "early"...... we made it to PENN!
We didn't want to spend a ton of money on hotels on the way down but I also wasn't going to be stopping at anything that looked like the Bates Motel either! LOL
Econo Lodge was picked and it worked out just fine for us.
If you are wanting something quick and fairly cheap....I vote Econo Lodge!
I tossed and turned all night....coughing and just getting more and more nervous.
Eric of course wasn't tired so had a rough time getting to sleep too.
Got up the next morning at a decent enough time to hit the road again.......only to find out.....
IT HAD SNOWED! LOL
